Many students of the esoteric focus too heavily on personal experience or historical research. Shawn and Jason balance these two amazingly and every episode has the perfect amount of information to pique my interest without becoming overwhelming
I found some random downloads of chasing Hermes way back, and I was very chuffed to find them archived on here. They are a great introduction to various topics that I've not seen talked about much in other places. I particularly liked the emerald tablet episode
Chasing Hermes was seminal when it came out. It was probably the first and most interesting set of explorations on the various aspects of the Western Mysteries. Very easy to listen to, the presenters Sean and Jason, provide a deep explanation of subjects with their classic sense of humour and banter. This is one of the few series I could listen to over and over again! I can’t wait for the next episode and the return of the series again! Thanks Sean and Jason for this incredible work.
