  • Great banter with great stories, love this show

At first I thought it was just a couple of northern fairies jabbing on about racing motorbikes but then I realized it was that and so much more! Love the style and approach especially about all the old stories shared with guests.

Aside from being hooked by the content I wanted to thank everyone for continuing the show after the tragic loss of Chrissy. I recently lost my wife suddenly and at that moment my life was reset completely torn apart. I am honoring her by continuing all the things w... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#270 Decade of DNA [SCOTT HARGREAVES]
Q: What does it take to move into a top team leadership role like this, and how did you navigate the transition?
The transition was gradual and built on trust, taking opportunities as they arose, learning on the job, and getting strong support from mentors who believed in me, which allowed me to take on bigger responsibilities.
#269 Posh Spice [JOSH BROOKES]
Q: How do you approach practice week when riding multiple bikes, and how do you decide what gets tested first?
He describes a structured plan with a logical sequence, starting with the most relevant bike setup for the day, having backup options, and only testing changes that are likely to improve the main issue before moving on.
#269 Posh Spice [JOSH BROOKES]
Q: Does it take a lot of discipline, especially in practice, to not want to change the bike to accommodate new track conditions?
Josh explains that while discipline is important, he avoids forcing changes solely on a single moment, preferring a measured plan and evaluating the bike over multiple sessions before acting.
#265 North West 200 Review [LEE JOHNSTON]
Q: How do you get in the zone on a race weekend, and is the zone different for road racing versus short circuits?
The hosts discuss a pre-race routine and mindset, noting nerves can feel different for road racing, with a focus on staying calm, organized, and in control rather than chasing pace, and acknowledging the unique demands of slipstream battles on road courses.
#262 "Just A Girl From Daventry" [CHLOE JONES]
Q: What was the turning point that made you switch paths in your career?
Choosing to step back from stock 600 and return to Junior Super Sport on a 400 proved crucial; it rekindled her enjoyment of racing and led to a podium, shaping the rest of her World Championship journey.
