This has quickly become my favourite podcast - it’s always feels like a nice discussion that I’d like to have with my creative pals, or reflects conversations I’ve had in my head about art and creativity. It’s the best company for when I’m making pottery at home in the basement :) Thank you Lauren and Rachael, I hope you continue for many more seasons! There are so many wonderful conversations to be had.
Found Rachael on Instagram originally for style inspiration and now I’m so glad this podcast exists. I appreciate the conversation and encouragement to have fun and explore with my creativity. I used to feel the pressure to make money from my creative passion but I really appreciate this podcast which helps me embrace the chaotic creative life.
Absolutely adore Chaotic Creatives. As one myself it’s natural to feel a little alone and lost sometimes. Lauren & Rachel make it feel like I have a seat next to them and we are just catching up and I love them. CC is funny, smart, inspiring and real. 10/10 would recommend!
I’ve never rated a podcast before, but this one has been so helpful in the last year. Found myself in a rut at work/life and it reminded me that by prioritizing play I could in turn prioritize happiness. Fast forward back in a ceramics class that helped me find community. The proud owner of a new guitar. And finishing up my first photography zine. So if you want to be creatively chaotic this is the podcast for you!
I was not previously someone who would have self-identified as a creative person, but after following Rachael for a bit and then listening to this podcast with these two great hosts, I realized that I was being to restrictive with what I thought creativity is.
I’ve been doing some creative projects to help myself decompress during my first semester as a PhD student, thanks to the encouragement and advice in these episodes! And now I’m hosting a “Craft-ernoon” to celebrate my birthday with some... more
