世間講緣起，所謂因緣果報，想要成就什麼就要投之以緣，想要解脫也必須知道出世間的道理在哪裡，有一個很明顯的指標，就是斷貪嗔癡，去煩惱！貪嗔癡永盡，這個叫解脫！多讀阿含經至少對於無常、無我的正觀建立會很清楚，很多觀念要一次兩次乃至三次四次慢慢建立，其實接受道理也是這樣慢慢聽、慢慢思維、慢慢觀照，我們對真理會更加的深入，《千古跫音聽阿含》是帶領我們進入阿含的一個助緣，心保和尚用了很多小故事、譬諭來讓我們更容易瞭解與領悟。

佛陀講得很清楚，煩惱就是貪嗔癡
苦從哪裡來？從貪嗔癡來、從身口意來，身口意如果跟貪嗔癡相應就會苦，如果和星雲大師說的三好，做好事、說好話、存好心來相應就會自在，知道原因就要知道去除煩惱的方法，因此我們談阿含經的修行也可以說是去除煩惱的方法。

佛陀已經為我們授記：汝等未來皆當成佛，但被授記之後，我們知不知道要做什麼呢？我們都在學佛，學佛所行、學佛所做、學佛所說，學佛就是在學自己自信眾生誓願度，要把內心的煩惱，轉變為智慧法喜、快樂，這是內化的功夫，佛陀講阿含經一直強調，五蘊空觀、五蘊無常，佛陀說這叫正觀，也就是說無常是世間的正見，我們對於世間必須要有無常的觀念，要如何去看世間的有無，所謂無常是在有的立場上去關照它的變化，從有到無、從無到有，這些都是變化而且不斷在進行，實際上也找不到所謂實體的東西，在修行過程裡面常常要修正，其實會慢慢放下... more
保和尚非常幽默，譬如他說每個人都有困難，但透過無我可以突破，很多煩惱是自己想出來的，它是本來沒有的，不過我們很厲害，可以無中生有。
