「佛言：辭親出家，識心達本，解無為法，名曰沙門。常行二百五十戒，進止清淨，為四真道行，成阿羅漢。」要想做一個真正的出家眾，就要「識心達本」，進一步還要「解無為法」，又能識心達本，又能了解無為法，這樣就可稱為真正的沙門，沙門就是出家修道的人。「識心達本，解無為法」這兩句話通大乘、小乘。無為法就是菩提心、涅槃性，所以無為就是要證到涅槃的境界。涅槃有四種：有餘涅槃、無餘涅槃、無住涅槃、自性清淨涅槃，這四種都屬於無為法，此章所講的無為法，所證得的是有餘涅槃和無餘涅槃，因為這裡所講的是四向四果，... more

「常行二百五十戒，進止清淨，為四真道行，成阿羅漢。」前面是要持戒，持戒以後要進止清淨。「進」，就是我們的動作；「止」就是我們不動的時候。在日常生活上，我們的身口意歸納起來，不外乎是靜、是動、是進、是止。修行一個是動，一個是靜。靜則一念不生，身也不動，口也不動，心中完全達到寂靜無為的境界，真正契入了無為法。所謂無為不礙有為之用，有為之用就是要動，「動如獅子吼，靜如涅槃城」我們靜下來，一念不生，什麼人都找不到；動如獅子吼，「獅子一吼，百獸皆驚」獅子為百獸之王，所有一切獸類聽到獅子一吼，都驚... more

「解無為法，名曰沙門」，出家必須持修二百五十條戒，這屬於比丘的戒，比丘尼則有三百四十八條戒。佛又開演種種方便加行，依著加行修證四向四果，最後證到阿羅漢果，真正契入無為。無為當中不妨礙有為，無為是體、有為是用。所以要知道出家的目的，就是要「識心達本，解無為法」。「解」是了解。我們先了解道理，然後再修行契悟，真正達到無為法，就是真正的沙門。「沙門」是出家修行者的稱呼，有很多祖師大德，著作、釋經，落款不寫比丘而寫沙門，因為比丘要持二百五十條戒、比丘尼三百四十八條戒，要把這些戒持清淨了，才稱得... more

所以禪宗祖師說「明心見性」，就是要明白這一念心，而見性就是達本。本就是本具，我們這念心性是本具的，師父說法、諸位聽法的這念心是本自具足，不是父母給我們的，也不是閻王、佛菩薩給我們的，這念心「法爾如是」。這個根本，無所從來，無所從去，沒有去、沒有來，畢竟空寂。體達畢竟空寂又不執著畢竟空寂，這就是達本、就是見性。佛就是悟了這念心，所以稱為法王，法王是諸法之王。這個世界無論過去、現在、未來、有情世間、無情世間、淨土、穢土、三塗六道、四生九有，都是我們這念心所生，所以要認識這個根本。所謂「三界... more
