所謂解脫就是化除自己心當中的執著，要證到空性，要將心當中的煩惱轉化過來，在唯識學上說轉第八識成大圓鏡智，轉第七識成平等性智，轉第六識成妙觀察智，轉前五識為成所作智，轉四智成法身、報身、化身三身。四智三身不離開這念心，頓悟當前這念心，心外沒有一法可得，這樣有生滅的心就變成不生不滅的心了。沒有生就沒有滅，生死就了了。

參禪、打坐或念佛，剛開始精進用功，感到身心安定，但經過一段時間以後，但卻反而覺得心定不下來、心煩意燥，這就是心當中的無明煩惱現前了。假使能夠觀照到，就能將煩惱轉過來；如果不知道覺照，就會被煩惱所轉，這就是心理上的生死。有很多修行學佛的人，煩惱現前就怨嘆，自以為修行這麼久，又作這麼多的功德，佛菩薩怎麼還不保祐，仍然處處都不如意。要知道，這時候不要嘆息，此時就是消業的時候。所謂「消業」，業障現前才能消，業障不現前就不能消。要想成道、轉識成智，就必須要把心當中的煩惱淘出來。... more

明朝末年，有一位智祥大師，「禪林寶訓筆說」就是智祥大師所著述；其事母至孝，曾任明代武官，明朝亡國之後，即在湖南省紫雲山下建寺，同母親一起出家修行。圓寂的時候，遺書上交代修建石塔，將他的色身放置在石塔中，每隔三十年要開一次塔；圓寂以後，弟子就遵照遺囑，三十年開一次塔，結果發現他的頭髮長垂至地，指甲繞身三匝；所以每隔三十年，弟子就要開塔為其剃髮、剪指甲，到民國時代這件事情都還持續著。民國三十二年時，道安法師任佛國寺住持，預備於三十三年五月開塔，後來因為日軍入侵而作罷，而後大陸... more
