This is a review that is long overdue for a truly outstanding podcast in every sense. Firstly, the audio is amazing. It’s a pleasure to listen to with crisp sound and no over talking. It’s also extremely informative and well put together. But the real magic is in the genuine chemistry between Andrew and JJ. There’s nothing performative or fake about it. It’s just effortless. And I love their digressions too, whether it be moments in their day to day lives or opinions on movies or tv shows. It’s ... more
I’ve been listening to the pod for several years now and like getting your thoughts on soccer worldwide and in the USA. But the blatant hate/bias for Chelsea is getting annoying. Also, you don’t care if Pochetinno screws over the USMNT if he leaves for Tottenham?! I know Andrew is a Spurs fan, but as a USMNT fan and supporter I’d be absolutely fuming if Poch left even if after the World Cup.
Took a break from podcasts for a while and am finally getting back into them. It’s so good to be listening to Caught Offside again. I've been listening to them since 2018, and it's one of the best soccer podcast out there. Their fun banter and strong community engagement make each episode a solid podcast.
It started with Mourinho, it may end with the Champions League
Edit: guys seriously, you need to stop fighting. It makes it’s so hard to listen. JJ, Andrew makes fair critiques of you and then you get so upset. Chill out.
