I’ve been listening to Andrew and JJ for a long time, and the show is excellent. They have never stopped working to make the show more fun, connect with listeners, and dig deeper into stories. They don’t shy away when culture and current events intersect with football, and have a great way of laughing with and at each other when sharing stories of everyday nonsense and embarrassment. Overall it strikes a great balance, not to mention the Plus content is great value.
Been a listener since 2018. Listen to episodes as soon as there are released. Thank you, Andrew and JJ!!
In my opinion, it is without a doubt the best podcast for Americans who are interested in the national team and Premier league. Andrew and JJ are both honest and without ego when it comes to their opinions, expertise and bias. Andrew is particularly Lovable and you can tell that his love for the sport and his team teams is genuine. JJ offers a nice comedic angle will also being shrewd and well thought. Despite my disagreement with him on numerous Liverpool related topics
I’ve listened on and off since they started. Basically it waxes and wanes with the fortunes of my team, if we’re doing well I’m all in. I haven’t been listening in the last couple of years but started up again because of the World Cup. It made me remember why I love their dynamic and convinced me to go plus member. I don’t know why it works but it does !!!
Been listening since 2014, favorite podcast out there. Also old football Andy got it right with the WC Squad

Two longtime soccer voices provide sharp, entertaining analysis of club and international football, balancing in-depth transfer talk, tactical breakdowns, and business-side debates with personal banter. Across episodes, they weigh big moves, governance, and league dynamics, while weaving in US soccer coverage, fan culture, and live-event banter for Plus subscribers. The dynamic between the hosts—with humor, skepticism toward mega-clubs, and a willingness to argue from distinct fan perspectives—creates a distinctive, approachable take on global football that appeals to dedicated fans and listeners seeking both smart analysis and relatable banter. A notable strength is the blend of serious sports business context with lively, autobiographical... more
