  • WARNING: Guest Joan Watson

The Catholic Momcast and its listeners deserve to know that speaker and writer Joan Watson is married to an ex-priest, KEVIN B. MCGOLDRICK, who is accused of sexual abuse of several young women across multiple dioceses.

  • The prayercast!

I am loving your addition of the prayercast! I absolutely enjoy the peace and thoughtfulness this segment adds. Listening to the older, wiser mom’s offer insights, sharing how they got to their peace, and having so many different guests share in prayer. Just wonderful!

Only request I have is to make audio slightly louder as I have to listen to your podcast at full volume and still slightly low compared to others. I want to make sure I’m getting every word. 😀

Caitrin wanted more role models for marriage, specifically from saints.
Catholic Momcast 372: Transitions and Life Changes
Q: How has your understanding of your vocation grown as you have discovered and rediscovered yourself?
My understanding of vocation has changed with life's seasons, constantly saying yes to what is placed in front of me and embracing the call I feel in each season.
Catholic Momcast 370: Celebrating Hallowtide
Q: How do you prepare children for conversations about death and praying for our loved ones that have died?
I feel like I could talk to them about death during Lent, and we can connect it back at Halotide since the church teaches us about the church triumphant, church militant, and church suffering.
Catholic Momcast 367: Global Rosary for Peace
Q: What do you tell the doubters?
I would say this: prayer does not replace action, but it fuels it, and when millions pray together, that spiritual solidarity can influence culture and even history.
