  • My favorite podcast

I’ve been a listener of Castle of Horror for a while, now.

It was actually the show that turned me on to podcast, I was already a fan of Drew Edwards and his work in the comic book world, I decided I’d check out his opinions on some of my favorite movies.

Next thing I knew, I was hooked, I even go out of my way to watch a film just so I can listen to their episode on it. I’ve also discovered other podcasts, literature and music, that I enjoy from listening to COH podcasts. Keep making them and... more

  • Addicted (in a good way)

Horror movie discussion from the mainstream to the obscure, all of it treated with thoughtfulness and respect. They’ve turned me on to dozens of interesting movies and deepened my appreciation of the stuff I already know.

The overall vibe is mellow and slightly loose but the hosts are sober and engaged and the shows are focused. They don’t mind going off on tangents but don’t abuse the privilege. I particularly like that no one here is “performing”; they speak like regular (if exceptionally ar... more

Bring on more Universal Horror and some 50’s schlock!!! Update. I still love the Podcast, content and crew however what I find annoying is how the ads break into the episodes when someone is in mid sentence while spea... more

  • Mostly Great

I really like this podcast and the movies it covers. Listening from the start, I just wish the token female didn't talk over everyone. Hopefully gets better as the podcast matures. And it is like listening to an issue of Famous Monsters
