Pointless chatter of dumb and fake critiques
These guys are great. They’re very knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to, and the strong production makes it sound professional and high-quality. I also like that they cut in short snippets of the songs they’ve discussing, which both breaks up the flow of the podcast (in a good way) and grounds it. There’s a good variety of metal in the episodes too, ranging from melodeath to nu-metal and others.
Two passionate metal fans explore their favourite works, critiquing and joking as they go. The dynamic between Lewis and Alan works well - they like different things, and it's great to see them guess what the other will love or loathe. Plus there are some great little skits between them. Well worth a listen for anyone who enjoys a bit of metal.
Two blokes talk intelligently about heavy metal. Ace!
