I came because I am a big Tariq fan but I really enjoyed it, it is not something I would sit down and listen to by itself but when I’m playing video games, building legos, or putting away dishes it is a good way to get fun insight on cartoons I love.
Show started off great and it was one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Then the release schedule started becoming inconsistent. There would be gaps of months at a time with no updates. Then a bunch of new episodes talking about how excited they were to be back and then the feed goes dark again for months. Unsubscribed.
Dig the format, and the pacing will keep you at the perfect level of investment. Would love to see “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”, and “Squidbillies” get they’re due diligence in the future.
The regular feed is excellent as it is, but having subscribed to the Patreon to access the After Dark content, I can say it's well worth it. I've only listened to the first episode so far and I lost count of how many times they've made me burst out laughing to the point where I've had to pause the episode so I wouldn't miss anything while I laughed. Johnny and Tariq deserve all the support for hosting such a great show.
Great commentary and the variety of content is awesome!!! I’m humbly requesting you guys do Harley Quinn. Love the content!
