Not sure how Jared and Jaime Lee get anything less than 5 stars. They are well researched experts that bring essentials for the perfect trip, business, news, and even some history to the masses. They do an incredible job of tying the “Disney Verse” together. They don’t sugar coat the bad and give honest opinions to help better inform the consumer. Of course I can sing them for to much verse and not enough Disney but they are the only reason I know anything about universal at all. So I won’t!
I’m a Florida resident with an annual pass for Disney, I enjoy your podcasts! I’m not a Universal follower but I do listen to those from time to time. I enjoy listening to you on my way to and from work!
I have enjoyed listening to the Capture the Magic podcast for years now! I appreciate Jamie and Jared’s banter with one another and how that is included every episode-it sort of feels like hanging out with friends a couple times a week. I also find their takes on Disney/Universal really interesting and like the direction of discussing news and current events, in addition to the standard review content.
It’s nice to hear some honesty about WDW, the good AND the bad. Love it. You got a new fan.
Love the podcast and YouTube channel, and while I totally understand the need for commercial breaks, please fix it so they aren’t interrupting mid sentence.

The show blends lighthearted banter with practical, data-informed takeaways for planning Disney World and Universal Orlando trips. Recent episodes cover park news, new attractions, price changes, and big-picture developments at both properties, alongside personal trip reports, family-focused tips, and crowd-management strategies. A standout is how hosts mix business-oriented context (pricing, expansions, and policy shifts) with approachable, everyday planning advice, making it useful for families and long-time fans who want honest, actionable guidance without gloss. The format across episodes tends to cycle between news roundups, in-depth ride or event previews, and candid reviews, often sprinkled with sponsor and merchandise plugs. Listene... more
