I like how these two feel like they're just two mates chatting about films. You sense that this is exactly how they chat normally, that their knowledge of cinema and interest in learning more about the movies they're discussing is quite natural, and the jokes and opinions they have never feel forced.
The ecclectic choice of film also manages to avoid being just the popular blockbusters or the obscure, difficult to watch, overly artsy films beloved by cinema snobs.
The two lads are very good. I love the podcast title, by the way. I haven’t seen some of these movies and I’m always on the lookout for some good / odd / interesting ones. I think the lads have their homework done — and have good eye for the humorous little asides in films. I’m thinking Manolo from Burn After Reading, not my favourite Cohen brothers show by any means, but still very entertaining.
