Since 2005, the CAGcast has been a pretty silly podcast about video games and the topics that affect gamers. Hosts CheapyD, Wombat, and Shipwreck talk industry news, review games, supply game shopping tips and generally share too much of their personal lives. Giving new meaning to "Talk is Cheap", the CAGcast is the official Podcast of the video game shopping community, CheapAssGamer.com.

  • Jumped the Shark

I keep coming back week to week but I have finally come to the realization the realization that The CAGCast as well as the site has “Jumped the Shark”. Wombat seems put out when he isn’t talking telling us about Fortnite. Cheapy and Ship seem like they would rather be doing anything else than participating on the podcast. Time to just shut it down because you all are definitely not having fun with this podcast anymore. I really hate what this podcast has evolved into. I feel like the only r... more

  • Too political

I’ve been listening since day one and they scared me off when they started talking politics. Throw it all away to cry about trump and Elon

  • Love the show, miss the weekly drops

I’ve been listening since the days of downloading the MP3 to my Zune. Super appreciate all the joy you’ve brought over the decades. I do miss the weekly episodes, but I’m appreciating what I get.

  • Stop talking about Politics

Ok show, but the talk always turns to politics. Particularly politics with a left slant. I’m fine with it, but it only works to push away a good portion of potential listeners. Trump won, the majority of the country is happy with what he is doing. Maybe take a look at why the left is failing. Most likely due to going too woke.

  • Not what it once was

CAGcast used to be a decent podcast about video games. Now Cheapy mostly discusses table tennis, rowing at Orange Theory, weed and his complaints about his neighbors and just people in general. Wombat likes to discuss terrible shows on streaming services and Fortnite. Occasionally Shipwreck will try to steer the conversation back to video games but is often thwarted. I hope eventually the show can get back on track. Until then we will have to endure the belches, penis jokes and other immature hu... more
