This is two very smart people out smarting the other for 30 minutes talking about Murder She Wrote. Honestly, if they would stop correcting and making sure they have more deep cut references then the other this could be fun. But it’s soooo dry and academic it sucks all the joy from the original cozy mystery. If you want lots of information with no fun, this is it.
I’ve listened to all the episodes. The hosts are knowledgeable and share interesting insights about old Hollywood guest stars, 80’s fashion and social issues covered by the series.
I got to episode two, and I’m done. Why do the hosts of a podcast about an 80s TV show need to discuss politics? And why does they have to be disparaging of one political party or view? There is more to life than political viewpoints. I guess the hosts believe that the niche for listening to podcasts about Murder She Wrote is so wide that they can easily insult half of their potential listeners. Well done (clap) (clap) (clap).
I would never think about half the stuff they mention in the episodes. I love the way they make me think deeper about the episodes.
