I was drawn to the podcast as an adult student of a secondary language and the frustration I’ve encountered with translation. I stuck around for the fascinating discussion Glen and Lydia have about scripture. If you’re interested in either, I believe you will enjoy this podcast. Congratulations, you’ve been successful convincing me to listen to a Christian podcast (by category) and completing a review. Both are firsts for me.

I’ve listened to 1000’s of hours of biblical podcast and tapes, yes I’m old enough to remember when we didn’t have podcast, and Glen and Lydia do one of the most well researched shows I’ve ever listened to. They do a great job at breaking subjects down for the average layman. Love the methodical way Glen Wade’s through the languages and Lydia helps lighten the mood to what can be some very heavy subjects. Just a wonderfully done podcast.
Just finished ep 2 on inspiration. That was a ton of new information and hard to grasp and absorb in the first listen, but, like you said at the end, just listen again.
I must say both of your voices are very pleasant to listen to. Glen, you are an amazing speaker. I appreciate anyone who can speak at length without over using (even at all in your case) filler words. You must have either formal training in that or a lot of practice. Either way, it’s fantastic! Lydia, your voice is so beautiful... more
