Carey Mae Parker has been missing from northeast Texas since 1991. People go missing every day, but there's something unusual about Carey's case. After two decades without answers, family members made a shocking discovery: Police never launched an investigation. We spent a year searching for clues about Carey's disappearance. And about the people who let it happen.

I listened to every episode of this podcast. KETR deserves awards for their efforts to get answers for the family. Y’all seemed to follow every possible clue despite the interference by the “investigating” officer. So glad the sister refused to back off or give up. Now, with the help of Adventures With Purpose, the family knows Carey’s fate though not if her death was accidental or murder. RIP Carey and condolences to her family.
Could be a good story and certainly a worthwhile quest to follow but it is stretched to the point of disinterest and the sound is terrible, shame.
Prefect podcast!! I don’t know how’s it not well known!!!!
I got sucked into this after hearing it mention a few cities I’m super familiar with since I’m from the area…after being sucked in and bingeing this entire series in 2 days, I’m not just twiddling my thumbs and trying to figure out how I can get in on this.
I’m not proud, but I’m also not sorry!
Keep up the good work! 🖤
There is a bigger story here beyond Carey's tragic fate, and I hope KETR will close the loop beyond a 2 munite postscript.
