Reviews

4.8 out of 5 stars from 178 ratings
  • Robin Hobb writes books for adults. The hosts cannot handle mature subject matter. Very frustrating.

Repeatedly throughout the podcast, the hosts acknowledge that some of the subject matter is rough to read about and listen to, but that's it's important for literary characters to have these lows so we can also get the highs. They then immediately proceed to bash the books and Hobb for containing adult subject matter. Grow up.

  • Listed a long time but..

Love the humor and most of the RotE content, but the heretical gender lady is not super fun.. makes it seem like being a regular guy or gal is not cool or normal. Also, it’s a few years since they posted these, but still… trying to shame people for not getting the vax or those who questioned it years ago is disappointing. If they stuck to the actual content and don’t shame other people’s beliefs then they’d be 5/5.
