I’m getting a bit contemplative at the end of the year, and this month we’re talking about the importance of the mystery of the night. Everything feels just a little more magical in the dark, and why that just feels right as a witch. That’s right, we... more

One of the biggest things I think a lot of older witches take for granted is that people understand what makes Wicca, well, Wicca. While we’ve discussed the history before, and last month talked about the weird anti-Wicca backlash, I think there are ... more

If you spend any amount of time on social media these days, especially TikTok, you’ll find a surprising amount of anti-Wiccan sentiment… and a lot of it’s pretty weird. Thumper Forge, Gardnerian Wiccan and author of the forthcoming The Chaos Apple, ... more

This episode marks seven years of this podcast, and as we start the eighth, I decided that it was time we looked back on how much things have changed in the modern witchcraft space since then, along with how different things are since I first became ... more

  • Lather rinse repeate, repeate, repeate, repeate . The podcast starts off wanting to go somewhere. Unfortunately the Podcaster has other plans. They find a way to repeate the same point so many times it's like listening to a record skipping. Don't get me wrong there are some good episodes in there. However most are just them talking for talking's sake. You end up with about 3 minutes of actual useful information in a 30 minute podcast. Perhaps Tik-Tok would be a better format?

  • Problems with nature episode, it’s super judgy

I was born in a farming community so I follow the four season natural cycle. It’s one of the reasons I was drawn to this faith. Nature as a word means plants and animals outside of humanity. So even crops are nature. Plus, I respect deer. Bears aren’t in a lot of places. When I lived in a place without four seasons, we did a Mediterranean cycle. Why do you think suburbs have less nature or soul than a city? I know people who live there and there’s nature there. Then you say there is no wrong ... more

  • Don’t hate. Relate.

Trae is a kindred spirit to all veteran witches & a touchstone for all newbs. This podcast should help folks discern where personal craft boundaries should lie, not where lies should dwell. There should be no spiritual practice higher than truth.
