    A common misconception about guns is - guns would not work in a vacuum. Mythbusters easily disproved this. Rockets work in space. Because you take fuel like hydrogen and combine it with an Oxidizer like Oxygen in a confined space. The nozzle. A bullet does not need air because gunpowder has the fuel and oxidizer completely enclosed in the shell. If gunpowder needed air to burn, it would take time, like burning a log, or gassoline.     Dean and Scott provide another enrapturing programme of insights and laughs. From my discovery of LSG through the defunct XFiles Podcast to this new Firefly endeavour, Dean and company have always excelled in television coverage/discussion and Brownshirts is no exception.
