This is hands down one of the best British literature podcasts I’ve found. It’s scholarly but approachable, conversational, and perfect for book lovers who want classics to feel modern again. As an Anglophile and classic literature fan, I love how it deepened my appreciation for writers like Jane Austen and Shakespeare while keeping episodes short and engaging.
Perfect commute listen. Perfect for book club discussion. Makes you want to reread and book a flight to England.
Very informative and easy to follow. Great host who breaks down the books and authors lives so we can understand some of the best stories even better.
I learned about Shakespeare in high school but this was a much better version with highlights and mysteries! Can’t wait for the next episode!
