    As an American born to Eastern European parents and as a leftist, I gotta say the political takes on Eastern Europe/Ukraine on this show are startlingly bad and uninformed (e.g. assertions that aid is given in money instead of military hardware). Sometimes the takes are literally talking points pushed by Russian propaganda narratives (e.g. US doesn’t have healthcare because of aid given to Ukraine). I already was thinking of unsubscribing because the podcast just makes me feel depressed, but the... more
