Thank you for discussing the issue of relations in America. I also hesitate over the word "race" because we are all Homo sapiens. Some of us lived in an area of more sun so the skin became darker with melanin and the hair became more curled so as to keep it off the scalp to allow the heat to escape. I didn't learn this until I was in my 30's and I dearly hope it is being taught in all elementary schools.
