  • Please discuss clinical issues

I continue to be frustrated that the best and brightest in the lactation world continue to discuss 50 year old ideas. Today we discovered, yet again, that obese black women struggle to breastfeed and that frozen milk tends to discover lipase problems. How about when to use a nipple shield, when to use an SNS, how do we get a newborn to breastfeed, identifying newborns with breastfeeding difficulties before they cause a crisis? Can we please discuss clinical skills and practical therapy?

  • Outstanding review of hot topics in BF medicine

I listen to this podcast on my commute and love it. Great overview of new studies in journals I may not always be knee deep in, and Drs Eglash and Bodnar do a great job putting the findings into context. It’s a lively and fun journal club in my car and I always learn something new. Thank you

  • Poor sound quality, top rate info

Very clinical information, but great if you just want no nonsense science. Sound quality is not great, distracting even at times.

  • Thanks Dr E!

I love your literature reviews and discussions! The most recent episode on arterial stiffness physician bedside pumping, and snoring was fascinating! I have a good friend who’s navigating pumping as a resident and shared this with her. Thank you for the time you spend on this podcast, I look forward to it every month!
