To have lived through this and then hear the podcast it’s like This Is Your Life lol. The podcast is incredibly thorough and well done. This piece of music history should be preserved and this does that. I will be re listening. Learned a lot.
Please make more docs! This was a great view of different mindsets.
Pronunciation of local towns is way off.
Really enjoyed this podcast, but kind of disappointed that they left out some of the heavy hitters of country music and it’s history to the city
This has got to be one of my favorite podcasts ever! It is so crazy to hear all of the old club names and bands that started at these clubs.
Great trot down memory lane as a kid growing around Seattle in 80s and 90s. But where’s the music?? I know these bands and albums that are mentioned well, but weave in more clips of love bone, early soundgarden, green river, melvins, etc., so people less familiar with the deeper scene get a real sense of the power of these bands. Too much talking, not enough music.
Very enjoyable and well researched
Love hearing about the early days of Seattle in episode 1 and can’t wait for the upcoming explosion. Must listen!
