  • Won’t stop talking!!

The host will not shut up. He has great guests and yet takes over the conversation. I suggest listen to the Sean Ryan podcast. Let the guest be the star. Be quiet and get out of the way.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Triple M Outfitters with guest Matt Cates
Q: What's going on out west this year and looking forward?
We're expanding with Western hunts across multiple states and even into Mexico; I've secured a large 20,000-acre South Dakota lease for mule deer and whitetail, plus elk, caribou, moose, and other species in various locations, while keeping Alaska trips occasional but meaningful.
Triple M Outfitters with guest Matt Cates
Q: Do you still run dogs?
I do every once in a while, but I don't personally keep them because I'm gone a lot; I rely on a few trusted handlers who can manage the dogs in my absence.
Triple M Outfitters with guest Matt Cates
Q: About how many acres were you managing at that time, when you first started scaling up?
At that early stage, I was managing roughly 10,000 acres of ranches, mainly to maintain hog populations, and gradually added clients and guided hunts as I formalized licenses and insurance.
Coaching and Being Coachable with Tom Clum Sr
Q: Can you give them a Tom Clum 101?
Tom outlines his background, philosophy, and the key elements of archery coaching, including the shift from power-centric technique to biomechanically sound practices that protect the shoulder and build a repeatable draw that works for different body types.
Lots of Pokers in the Fire with Shane Mowery
Q: What is Shane Mowery's vision for Arrowtech moving forward?
The plan is to bring manufacturing back to the United States, specifically Idaho, to support more localized production, maintain legacy while integrating modern tech, and build a complete ecosystem of components and products that can serve both serious enthusiasts and the next generation through education and mentorship.
