Really liking the insights these authors provide. Particularly enjoyed the discussion with Michael Connelly whose work I discovered after watching Bosch on TV. A brilliant writer! Well done Phil on getting him on the show
This podcast is as soothing as reading a book on the beach. Great conversations that make you smile and want to go out and buy the books.
Phil is a great interviewer and just sounds like he’s enjoying himself, which is not surprising given the calibre of guests🙌🏽
Phil is a brilliant interviewer who is genuinely interested in and delighted by his guests, which makes for conversations that are natural and engaging. Even if you already know and love the authors he talks to, you’ll find out loads more about them and juicy details about their books and writing! I love listening to podcasts whilst running or doing chores and this series makes the runs (or the cleaning!) fly by.
Great podcast. Phil is such a great knowledgable host. He appears to be a genuine fan which makes the podcast such a delight.
The guests on this podcast are all brilliant, proper ‘A’ listers.. Anthony Horowitz, Dorothy Koomson, Lynda La Plante.. Phil is so engaging and allow the author time for us to get to know them..
This podcast has inspired me to read more plus the added bonus of being able to watch the interview as well adds a brilliant dimension..
