Reviews

4.7 out of 5 stars from 30 ratings
  • What. Is. This.

1st: the audio has actually gotten worse from the first episode to the last. 2nd: the hosts pass off terrible takes as fact (Tarasenko signed a one year deal because he gets hurt often? Huh?). 3rd: this comes off as a 12 yo's show. Hottest Blue in this climate with all going on with Seattle and their fan fiction? Read the room. This show is so much yikes.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 129 ft BFF Fansider Corey Y.
Q: Who are two players to watch emerging from training camp or the prospect showcase that weren't on the radar last year?
Two players to watch are Dvorsky for potential center adjustment and Lucas Fischer who impressed in the scrappy moments; both could push for NHL ice time if they continue progressing and demonstrating readiness.
Episode 129 ft BFF Fansider Corey Y.
Q: Do you think the Blues will make the playoffs with the current roster, or should they consider selling at the trade deadline to bolster the farm?
Yes, the hosts believe the Blues will make the playoffs with the current roster, citing depth in goaltending and forward lines, and consistent development in the system; if they struggle at the deadline, expect measured moves rather than a full teardown to preserve playoff chances.
Episode 165 ft Koty W.
Q: What is your read on the center depth and the draft prospects, especially compared to Scott Wheeler's rankings?
Koty discusses the tiered BPA approach, noting the importance of centers like Tyne and Lawrence, Benedikt, and Morozov, while highlighting that the Blues need to balance immediate defensive needs with long-term upside from high-ceiling players.
Episode 165 ft Koty W.
Q: Koty, how are you feeling about the Kyrou trade and the Blues' draft strategy with four first-round picks?
Koty explains that although four picks seems unlikely to stay intact, there's excitement about potentially moving up to secure Ivar Stenberg or, if that doesn't pan out, pursuing Elias Pettersson, while keeping some ammo for later rounds.
Episode 133 ft BFF Fansider Danny
Q: What was your takeaway from preseason and the opening three games?
Preseason showed some concerns about consistency, but the team appeared to commit to a defensive, four-check identity, with notable improvements in the second and third games and a strong showing from the depth players.
