Absolute gem in the tennis podcast world. Hosted by the dynamic duo Eugene and Lucy, it offers compelling, intelligent, and often thought-provoking commentary that celebrates the achievements of Black tennis players across both the WTA and ATP tours. What makes it stand out isn’t just the tennis talk,it’s the cultural lens, the focus on representation, and the unapologetic commitment to amplifying voices that have long been underrepresented in the sport.
Love the diasporic love on this podcast. It was great as I got back to watching and playing tennis after quite a bit of time off. Eugene and Lucy are knowledgeable, funny, and relatable and they are often spot on with their calls on up and coming tennis players.
Great Jan 29 2025 show!! Yes. Europeans believe since they know somebody Black they can say anything they want. But be clear..they feel entitled to do and say anything. I didn’t know Christian’s court was Black!! But loved the content!!keep going. See u at Indian wells. 🎾🎾🎾. I’ll be at Monte Carlo this year. Look for 4 Black girls😂😂😂
Love this show. Love the hosts and their passion for the game. As a Black woman and long time tennis fan, this is the podcast I’ve been waiting for. The stories of these players’ careers are in good and thoughtful hands.
Lucy and Eugene do a great job on informing and uplifting tennis fans about players of black ethnicity. Wimbledon has become so much more enjoyable with their daily breakdowns and interview snippets from the players themselves!
