Came across this podcast while looking for coverage of Slow Horses going back to season 1. This is the perfect show to play between episodes for a quick and fun recap with fun insights thrown in. Love the sound clips interspersed throughout as well. They make me laugh bc they’re always spot on. Feels like chatting with a friend between episodes!
I stumbled on this looking for Alien: Earth content. She writes really well and takes her insights out pretty far to give me a lot of “huh; yeah, I didn’t think of that” moments. Someone said it’s not easy to pull off a very good podcast without a cohost, and they’re right and I agree she manages to entertain as well as enlighten. Five stars, immediate follow.
Good!
Okay, I am jumping in right in the middle as far as these podcasts are concerned. I wanted to hear Christina’s reviews of Barry so that’s where I started and BRAVO!!! I love how immediately you gravitated toward Noho Hank. RELATABLE! I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of your Barry episode reviews but also all of the other shows you’ve covered that I also love. Final thought, it’s hard to pull off a podcast without a cohost but you really pull it off. Well done!!!
The podcast is helpful, and I enjoy the host. Problem is they have background music running through out the whole podcast. Music is ok for intros and outros, but not through the whole podcast as it splits focus. In addition I have a brain injury and someone talking over music triggers debilitating headaches as it’s too much stimuli for my brain to process all at once. Due to this, I have never been able to listen to a whole episode in one sitting.
