  • Bite-size podcast

I just happen to trip over the bite-size podcast and it was fun! The guest I saw was Brandon Cristy a.k.a. the cat guy and I happen to notice that the airing of the podcast was on my birthday so that was a bonus for me. They talked about a lot of the behind-the-scenes interactions and processes and networking. I’ve been in chat groups with Brandonnear past and he is genuinely a very sweet person so thank you for taking the time to see how awesome he is nicely done podcast

  • Perfect pod for someone who misses Fall

I am not a summer girlie. Even though I think the first twilight film is supposed to be in spring, it gives off all of the most wonderful fall vibes! It’s almost August and if you’re anything like me, you’ll search for anything that makes it feel like a cold, gloomy fall day and this podcast does that by taking you literally minute by minute into the land of ah uh ha uh ha uh ha uh ha uh land!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 101 - Belly Button Standoff
Q: Has it changed at all?
The guest reflects on how rewatching with fresh eyes and more Twilight knowledge alters his reading of the dynamics between Bella, Jacob, and the other characters.
Ep. 101 - Belly Button Standoff
Q: But Ben Oxer, what's your history with the Twilight franchise?
Ben explains his long-running engagement with the series, noting his familiarity with key motifs, tropes, and moments from across the films, and highlights how his perspective on the scene has evolved with each rewatch.
Ep. 96 - Jacob's Future is Unwritten
Q: What about Jacob's arc in this scene—what does his change mean for Bella's choices moving forward?
Jacob's transformation signals a shift from superficial romance to a more complex, protective identity; it reframes their relationship as evolving rather than simply romantic, and invites Bella to explore autonomy and personal growth beyond the boy-focused storyline.
Ep. 96 - Jacob's Future is Unwritten
Q: Mindy, what do you think is the future of Twilight after this moment in the movie and in culture?
I think Twilight will stay a pop-cultural touchstone, with memes and nostalgia keeping it relevant; the campus and family-friendly rewatch potential will help it endure as a cultural artifact, and the character dynamics will continue to be reinterpreted by new audiences.
Ep. 89 - Just Rough Housin With the Boyz
Q: Do you think ice pee pee is worth it?
The hosts unpack the biomechanical and fictional logic of vampire physiology, noting that vampire bodies in Twilight are peculiarly cold and that the concept is treated humorously and hyperbolically, with the consensus leaning toward it being not particularly appealing or relevant to them personally, while acknowledging Bella's reaction as a possible data point.
