I am an American who's been living in Nepal for two years. I am cracking up at how these ladies tell their stories about what it really is like to live here. Sooo glad I found this podcast and will be sharing it with every expat here who wants to laugh, and with loved ones at home who want to know what cross-cultural life is like.
I honestly feel like I am on the phone with two friends when I listen to Big & White. I know, I know! It took me awhile to get over the name but in Asia how locals talk about "big" white expat woman is very blunt, so I am guessing that's where the name came from. Just hit play already. You're going to love their relaxing chatting style, the info about their daily life in Nepal and their connection to each other and the linguistic work they are doing there. P.L.A.Y. I promise you won't regret it.... more
