  • Please continue this with daily content!!!

As someone who was a lukewarm catholic in my upbringing, but now at age 40 finding a true, deep longing to build a relationship with Christ, this podcast has been instrumental in my journey. This has become my go-to podcast. I ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#85 Understanding Original Translations of Your Favorite Scriptures + Dr. Kevin Grasso
Q: What are we getting wrong here?
The meaning of love in this context is loyalty rather than just an emotional feeling, so we should love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and might represents our loyalty to God, not just a feeling.
#85 Understanding Original Translations of Your Favorite Scriptures + Dr. Kevin Grasso
Q: So language kind of seems like it's taken over your life. Why did you choose that?
The original sort of impetus was just trying to understand the Bible, and I realized that a lot of theological discussions were really about what Greek words and Hebrew words meant, so I needed to learn those languages.
#81 Understanding the Case for Miracles + Lee Strobel
Q: What surprises you the most about the supernatural?
Deathbed visions are incredibly well documented and show supernatural experiences that confirm afterlife encounters.
#81 Understanding the Case for Miracles + Lee Strobel
Q: Do you think it was the approach, legalistically or historically or contextually, that you think was the most impactful for you, kind of being convinced?
It was really a combination of historical and scientific evidence that pointed toward a creator aligning with the God of the Bible.
#78 The Untold Story of How the Church Actually Began + Dr. Joshua Jipp
Q: Do you think there was a sense of urgency among the apostles for Jesus' return, fueling their proclamation?
Yes, there was a heightened sense of eschatological expectation, but they also navigated their lives and responsibilities as they awaited Jesus' return.
