  • The Bible Explained

First, I’m never one to leave reviews especially for an app or podcast. But this podcast has been incredible. Susan and Heather are a great team and have this easy-to-understand way of explaining each book and chapter of the Bible. The episodes are only 40-30 minutes so it’s not overwhelming. I’m so grateful I found this (thanks to a co-worker).

  • Love this podcast!

I find myself coming back to this podcast not only as entertainment, but also as a resource and to re-ignite my own desire to read the Bible. The way they break down the passages and their thoughts have greatly helped my understanding and leaves me wanting to research further. I also appreciate that they read the scripture, and then present their thoughts, or in some cases, historical context.

  • I began listening because I have a desire to truly understand the Bible. I’ve read it, the Bible, independently and in full but I have always felt I missed the bigger picture. I have read the same verses my Pastor discusses and get an entirely new perspective from hearing him speak. That’s what I was seeking, and I FOUND IT! The tie ins to past and future chapters, the maps, show notes and overall discussion on how can I take this chapter and integrate it into my life is exactly what I needed. A... more
