Reviews

4.5 out of 5 stars from 224 ratings
  • Quality

Top drawer podcast, provides strong insight from industry players and pundits. One small observation, while we don’t expect Shakespearean delivery from tipsters, thou shall not commit grievous harm to the English language. It’s versus not “verse”. And you really need to do something about the audio levels on sponsored intros like “early crow” which peak at ear-piercing Everest levels.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Stable Mail - Reece Goodwin 16/7
Q: If I gave you $100 this weekend, what would you do with it?
I would split the investment with a preference for a win bet on Godfrey Kirk and a smaller portion on Struggle Street, aiming to balance risk and potential return.
Giddy Up - Full Show 16/7
Q: What does the national tote mean for punters right now?
The national tote will unify pools across regions, increasing liquidity, reducing price slippage, and eventually enabling new products and wholesale participation from corporate bookmakers, with gradual rollout over five weeks.
Michael Fitzsimons - TAB's National Tote 16/7
Q: When will the National Tote be available to customers, and has a rollout date been confirmed yet?
The rollout is expected in about five weeks, starting with a staged, meet-by-meet rollout rather than a big-bang launch, as regulators complete final checks and technical readiness.
Punter's Club - Adam White 16/7
Q: Any futures plays in the AFL before you go, Whitey?
Whitey discusses looking at the Giants as a potential top team with a favorable draw, mentions other clubs like Carlton and St. Kilda in the mix, and notes price points such as around 1.72 for top 30 futures, while considering different lines and risks across the season.
Stable Mail - Luke Oliver 16/7
Q: Who are your best chances there in race three if you had to split them?
Lake Vostok is the standout, with strong form and a favorable draw; Sweet Jasmine has good form but Vostok edges them on weight and readiness.
