I have always been interested in what the NTSB does and the process of becoming an investigator. I would like to listen to an interview with a current air safety investigator and their path to the NTSB, what is their daily job consist of? Also, what is it like to be part of an accident investigation and what would be a good background for someone that would want to do the job?
I enjoyed it so far. It would be interesting to hear about a case study the who’s, why’s, future solutions, etc...
The NTSB is an agency that investigates a wide range of high profile transportation accidents, and its resultant recommendations have done much to improve safety. This agency has a lot of amazing stories to tell, but instead, this podcast features fluff pieces. A more interesting podcast idea would be to feature stories from on-scene investigators of what they had to go through to obtain the information that would ultimately lead to the probable cause of each accident.
Incredibly boring. Thought it might have accident reports. I check back some time in the future and see if they change format to stuff people would like to listen to.
