To understand transgenderism, we must understand our fallen nature. God created us in his image, and this is distorted by sin. The pressure from society to accept that you are born in the wrong body only leads to fatalism and despair. The gospel, how... more
John Owen wrote, “A minister may fill his pews, his communion roll, the mouths of the public, but what that minister is on his knees in secret before God Almighty, that he is and no more.” Most pastors that I know are committed to a prayer life. Howe... more
What is good, Gospel preaching. We believe it must center on preaching both the law and the gospel. According to Eric Beach from 9 Marks, Scripture contains both commands to obey (law) and promises to believe for salvation (gospel). These are not ant... more

Mitch is a good friend and counselor. Thus I am not suprised that his podcast would demonstrate the Biblical Wisdom, conviction, kindness and courage which he demonstrates in person. Mitch has been through many minsitry battles and his theology has been forged through Word, prayer and walking in faith for many years. Proverbs say to walk with the wise, for we will grow wise. Therfore, this is a podcast worth listening to.
CS Lewis made the comment that delight is incomplete until it is expressed. I think that is true in the realm of pastoral labor. There is much to reflect upon and Mitch has done an excellent job at giving a quality depth of expression to the ups and downs of life in the position of pastor. This has been a help to me in arranging my affections and struggles as a pastor.
Mitch Schultz presents the real struggles and joys of being a pastor understandable to everyone with great humility. I would recommend listening to this to bring an insight to church life that is rarely addressed and more oftern than not misunderstood. I look forward to each new production along with the other listener.
Before You quit Podcasts are dynamic, spiritual and meaningful. Each podcast has reached out and spoken to me on a real level. It doesn't matter where you are in the Lord, there is a strong message here for you. I am a lay person and I learn many new life strategies in each episode. It is all real live stories, down to earth testimonials. We all have gone th... more
This podcast is refreshing in its candor. Mitch (the host) is honest in his sharing and each of the guests he invites seem to have the same commitment. If you are in ministry or contemplating ministry - or care about someone in ministry - you should listen in. You'll find authentic people sharing real life as they continue to serve the true God.
