1 phone call. 1 hour. No names. No holds barred. I could only listen to two episodes. I think this shows had great potential but poorly executed for two reason. 1) the host is arrogant and puts his two cents in on everything instead of it being an interview to learn about the anonymous person. 2) the people calling in are not screened and therefore not that interesting to learn about.
What I listened to was mostly about “where are you from” and then let’s discuss the political situation and demographics or the accents. It’s all very shallow.... more
The host pushes his unpopular political agenda while being very self centered and narcissistic. A chimp would be as engaging and entertaining as this guy.
This is the best podcast. I’m honestly sad I binged them all so now I’m just up to date with them lol Chris is the best mixture of funny & caring
Please stop recommending podcasts! I don't want to be solicited; they are never good. The show- Humans connecting. It's a tough thing to do, and they do try. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's boring; the episodes when folks call with a set list of things they want to talk about generally end up being the least interesting episodes IMO. An organic conversation has more potential to result in an authentic connection, even if it's just about what you had for breakfast. I am attracted to call... more

Attention-grabbing interview-format with a single caller per episode, where conversations unfold in real time for about an hour without names or holds barred. Recent episodes span a wide mix of intimate confessions, personal histories, and deep dives into topics like trauma, family dynamics, mental health, spirituality, and everyday resilience. The host steers with patient curiosity, creating a space for authentic storytelling, sometimes turning toward cultural critique or niche subcultures, while listeners encounter a diverse tapestry of human experience. Notable throughlines include the focus on vulnerability, the anonymity premise that shapes candid exchanges, and a community feel that emerges from shared human moments rather than polish... more
