Yeah, the ads are super loud and surprising, one time it surprised me so much that I messed up my drawing ðŸ˜. And the stories are not that scary, but I still do love them, even though most of them are so not scary :)
I love the stories and the way they’re told. The narration really makes the creepy moments stand out. Sometimes the ads can be a little annoying, but you get used to them and they don’t take away from how good the podcast is.
This channel is one of just a handful that I still listen to regularly because it’s a real person’s voice, and the stories are genuinely creepy. In this day and age of AI and fake accounts, I cherish the people that take the time to narrate good stories. Definite five stars from me.
I love this podcast. Started following in 2019 on a different platform, but platform became unavailable. Started listening on here, but from the beginning. Stories are better the second time around. The showers are still my favorite although i think my grandfather is a serial killer is my second and The kin is my third.

A weekly horror storytelling show built around atmospheric, first-person and listener-submitted tales told by a calm, distinctive narrator. Episodes mix long-form suspense with compact scares across haunted homes, road trips, and uncanny encounters, often weaving in sponsor reads and cross-promotions. A standout is the consistent single-host delivery that blends memoir, folklore, and global urban legends, contributing to a unique late-night campfire vibe. The format leans into ambient dread and memory, making it appealing to listeners who enjoy immersive storytelling with a paranormal or macabre tilt, and the show frequently partners with a major studio for production and distribution support.
