Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Love Beyond Biology
Q: But in the body of Christ, we know that Satan wins no battles. And today, I would like to ask you a question. Would you fight for custody of your ex-wife's children?
Jason describes his initial reluctance and eventual commitment to fighting for the kids, driven by love, responsibility, and the belief that God's plan could still unfold through steadfast faith and action.
Parenting Adult Children Biblically
Q: What is the balance between spiritual warfare and loving care?
Love and prayer should underpin spiritual warfare; declare truth with grace, ensuring the family remains a unit under God while protecting relationships from conflict.
Parenting Adult Children Biblically
Q: How should parents handle hot-button topics with adult children?
Pray and seek teachable moments without forcing conversations; keep the relationship alive by talking about shared experiences and values, rather than lecturing on beliefs they already question or reject.
Parenting Adult Children Biblically
Q: So what do adult children need from their parents?
Respect, autonomy, and space to grow; parents should be a resource rather than an overbearing presence, supporting without micromanaging and allowing adult children to lead their own paths.
Faith Through Identity Confusion
Q: What was the role of prayer and Scripture in this process?
Daily scriptural declarations, intercession, and leaning on God's truth helped keep the family anchored and prevented fear from driving actions.
