This podcast gives you the experience of sitting in on a great conversation over a couple of pints. I’m new to the world of beer podcasts and am interested in learning more about the people behind the beers I enjoy without getting overly technical. Barley & Me is a great entryway. Ben keeps the conversation going and lets his guests do most of the talking while asking great questions. I’m looking forward to exploring more episodes and hearing more stories from our great craft beer community.... more
Of all beer based discussion format podcasts, Barley & Me is one of them! Ben’s guest list continues to be top notch, giving a great overview of the Sacramento beer scene, and mixing it with great humor and discussion. more
This is such a great podcast. Ben is a thoughtful, delightful, intelligent and FUNNY host who keeps the convo lively with his guest(s). As a Sacramento native and avic beer drinker, I appreciate him inviting us along as he gets to know the local craft breweries and brewmeisters. Mobile set up podcasts can be draining to listen to but ben captures the best level of ambient and direct noise. Highly recommended
