BANDANA BLUES invites you on a musical journey every week for about an hour and a half of 21st Century Blues with a nod to The Masters. Beardo (from Philly, USA) started with the Bandana Blues shows doing them live on the internet in the late 1990's and was soon joined by his long-time friend Spinner (from The Hague, NL). Soon after the turn of the century Bandana Blues became a weekly podcast. Be... more

  • Simply the Best

Have been listening to this show for well over twelve years. The undeniable best part of my week, it has been with me through some rough times, as well as the good. Always an incredible mix, I love that it has challenged me in how I think about the blues by constantly finding new artists and sounds. With that said, it wouldn’t be Bandana Blues without the hosts. I dearly miss Beardo, but Spinner has done an awe inspiring job of keeping this show running after such a tragic loss. In a way he has ... more

  • Stick to the music

Wish you could stick to the music and the artists and not wallow in the mud of political ignorance. Too many other options available where hosts ensure the music and artists are a priority so listeners may find new musicians and enjoy potentially unknown tunes from known artists.
