回顾一下，前面谈了IoT的安全、需求、标准、应用、模式五大绊脚石，最后一个绊脚石是IoT的技术。我相信很多人会持一种观点，认为IoT不就是旧瓶装新酒，和云计算一样，不过是口若悬河的商人鼓吹的一套概念。既然是概念，IoT哪里有什么技术可言？

IoT的第五个绊脚石关于商业模式，或者往大了说就是当下公司的思维格局。这话听着非常玄虚，其实上一集语音的最后一段已经提及了。
现如今的商业模式或思维格局之下，半导体公司的价值主张是啥呢？你买芯片，我来支持你软件、帮客户开发算法，这被视为一种不足为奇的服务。可是从IoT的价值链来看，这远远不够。假如把IoT的价值链从低到高比作一幢拔地而起的80层的摩天大楼。给客户传感器、处理器、连接类产品，这都是在silicon的层次而已。

应用杂碎。IoT的器件在不同应用场合对功耗、数据传输率、尺寸要求、价格等等相差巨大。比如可穿戴手环需要低功耗、智能水表对稳定连接有依赖，而工业自动化则需要很高的传输码率。对半导体公司呢，完全不适应这样的节奏。半导体公司希望产品生命周期有几年、margin好几十、售价最好好几美金单片、出货在每年几千万片。唯此，将将应付高企的研发成本和不停翻滚的摩尔定律啊。
