  • Losing me

Found this show about a year ago and really enjoyed it, however, starting to lose me. Feel like every time i tune in now the discussion devolves into them talking about how buyers dont understand their margins so cant sell to them at certain prices. Sounds whiny and getting repetitive

Season 6 Ep 13 Marz Cardz Joins The Ballcard Show
Q: What do you see Fanatics/TOPS wanting from LCS in 2026, and how are you navigating that relationship while staying true to your community focus?
The guests describe a twofold reality: direct partnerships bring allocation benefits, but true support is still lacking in some areas; they emphasize being rooted in community, maintaining consistent branding with Cleveland, and leveraging social media to stay visible while balancing local engagement with national distributor realities.
Season 6 Ep 13 Marz Cardz Joins The Ballcard Show
Q: What did the bridge from eBay selling to opening a brick-and-mortar look like, and when did you know it was the right move?
The bridge involved testing local shows, building a customer base, and realizing the need for a dedicated space; the decision to open a shop came after sustained show activity, a growing following, and a deliberate plan to expand beyond the initial online and street-market presence.
Season 6 Ep 13 Marz Cardz Joins The Ballcard Show
Q: So when Mario started telling his story, where did you begin and how did you get to where you are today?
The story starts with a shared passion for cards dating back to WWE figures and early collecting, followed by gradual growth through eBay and social media, leading to a small shop opened in 2022 and then expansion into a bigger space as the brand gained local traction.
Set Up Before You Set Up Season 6 Ep 8
Q: What should I do to supplement cash flow when you can't buy enough low-end Bowman autos?
Consider targeting current hot players at under market prices or diversifying your inventory to include different types of cards.

Q: At what point is a player no longer considered to be truly labeled as a prospect?
Players are often considered prospects until around 22 or 23 years old, with exceptions for those called up shortly afterward.
