Finally, an awesome Australian climbing podcast! I’m hooked! Great topics, great conversation. So cool to have a podcast where the hosts are the people actually doing the stuff - there aren’t many sports podcasts where the olympians are the ones doing the interviewing!
I’m under no illusions that I will ever get up a climb that is graded with a 3 as the first number (I might be able to punch it out if it is the only number in the grade). So it is a privilege to hear from those who can do so and about a side of the sport that I’m not involved in.
The hosts Tom and Amanda are very generous to their interviewees who themselves are both interesting, engaging and kind. But through it all you can feel the flame of passion for climbing.
Keep frothing!
As a climber in the States it’s exciting to hear about the cool experiences and psych in Australia. Accents make it go down smooth too.
See above 😅
If you want to listen to a couple of mates sit gas bagging then it’s the podcast for you. Feels a bit like a bro fest sometimes and lacks some substance but not bad if that’s what you’re into.
