  • Tremendously entertaining baseball podcast

Jake Robinson has developed a cream of the crop podcast for baseball enthusiasts who appreciate humor as well. While the focus is the history of the game with informative and compelling deep dives into players and ballparks, Jake delivers with passion and much appreciated humor which is used effectively and not overblown. As a lifelong baseball fan of 57 years old, I have never enjoyed a baseball podcast as much as Backwards K.

Harmon Killebrew; Killer
Q: Harmon, there should be an exciting year in the American League. How do you see it?
It could be an even tougher year than the previous for the Continental Ball Clubs, with possibly six or seven clubs in contention.
Harmon Killebrew; Killer
Q: Harmon, if you had to pick one club other than yourself, who do you think it would be?
Several clubs are going to be stronger, including the White Sox, Detroit, Boston, and of course, Baltimore and New York.
”Shoeless” Joe Jackson
Q: You want to get him into the Hall Of Fame, is that right?
I would like to see him given a chance because his penalty was the most severe for any player with less involvement.
”Shoeless” Joe Jackson
Q: Do you think he was one of the, probably the greatest players of all time?
Yes, there's no question he was one of the greatest that ever played or swung a bat.
The Wizard; Ozzie Smith
Q: Was baseball your way out? Did you look at it that way?
Ozzie saw baseball as a means to support his family and understood that failure would not only impact him but his family as well.
