Polished, smart, endlessly appropriate, and tongue-in-cheek when it counts. The perfect host.

Pulling back the Old Money curtain to show us it’s all in fact rather boring, Kiki drops science and makes it feel like spilling tea. Ever wondered what the Other Half knows that you don’t? Auntie Kiki has definitely a way with words and concepts. One admires how precisely and articulately she can explain that of which one may have had an intuition. Her humorous yet illustrative allusions to history, literature and anthropology make this podcast quite delightful!
Kiki is so charming and shares her bold opinions with a giant wink. One of my favourite podcasts. Her books are fabulous too.
At first, it may seem like it’s about etiquette and helping a Hyacinth Bucket type present herself better, but there is so much truth and honesty in what she says that has nothing to do with that at all… The chitty-chatty way she speaks makes it genuinely fun and easy to listen to. Thank you Kiki! Greetings from the Netherlands!

A refined, thought-provoking show that treats etiquette, taste, and social signals as a lens on culture and class. Across episodes, listeners hear deep dives into how old-money manners, fashion, and discreet communication shape reputation, relationships, and daily life—from jewelry as social biography to navigating modern influencer culture without losing grace. The host blends historical context, practical tips, and personal branding, often weaving in literary and design references to illustrate timeless standards that adapt to today's world. Noteworthy is the consistent emphasis on authenticity, restraint, and meaning over spectacle, making it appealing to listeners who value culture, polish, and thoughtful self-presentation.
