I found Sean’s podcast in Sept ‘23. It’s July ‘24 and I’m 4 episodes from listening to them all. I’ve been a tech for 39 years, owned my shop for 22 years. We’ve been through it all; 9/11, 2008 downturn, Covid. What Sean provides is a voice to listen to about the struggles that we deal with everyday. Whether your a tech or a business owner there is wisdom in his words and calming tone even when it gets bad. Thanks for the therapy!
I could not be happier to have found this podcast. Super detailed and accurate descriptions of issues, diagnostic strategies as well as the functionality of the circuit or component in question along with links to other resources. I don’t think it could be done any better!
Great podcast! Sean is awesome and I love how he is willing to share the vehicles that kicked his butt. Too many people want to be the hero and that’s just not reality. This is one of the only automotive podcasts that I have found that focuses on diagnostics and I’m grateful for it!
Love this podcast can’t wait for the new episode to drop every week
Fantastic content, focuses on what he says he is- diagnostic podcast- with several inputs from other top names in the industry! Whomever rated it one star clearly doesn’t know what this podcast is for!!!

This show centers on automotive diagnostics, hands-on repair techniques, and the tools and workflows techs use to solve complex vehicle issues. Episodes frequently feature in-depth case studies, step-by-step diagnostic logic, and explorations of modern vehicle networks, software, and hardware interactions. A noteworthy angle is how guests—from technicians to educators—share practical frameworks, real-world troubleshooting, and glances at evolving tech like AI-assisted workflows and module programming. Listeners can expect actionable insights, a clear emphasis on diagnostics over high-level theory, and a community-driven focus on staying current in a fast-changing industry.
