  • Terrible sound quality

It is shocking that the almighty JP Morgan doesn't have money to invest in a decent studio or editing. The contents are pretty good, when you can hear them!!!!! Please put some money in new equipment or hire a competent sound editor. We can barely hear them sometimes. There are huge volume and clarity differences between the people talking. Good content, terrible sound quality.

  • Good themas but low quality sound

It is shocking that the almighty JP Morgan doesn't have money to invest in a decent studio or interview procedures. The contents are pretty good, when you can hear them!!!!! Please put some money in new equipment. To be fair, it may not be your studio, but from the people that you interview. We can barely hear them sometimes. Take them to a studio!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Global Commodities: Oil and Gas Rocked by Conflict
Q: Otar, if we take a look at what exactly is happening in the Strait of Hormuz, what are the current bottlenecks and how do they translate into market risk?
The Strait's bottleneck is primarily about storage capacity and the limited ability to move crude or LNG when the passage is restricted; for oil, Gulf producers can store at ports while ramping capacity, but for LNG the restart is much slower due to liquefaction needs, so the market faces higher and longer-lasting risk, with global supply at risk being substantial.
European Rate Markets: Eurobonds, by-elections and the spring statement
Q: What do you think about the Chancellor's upcoming spring statement?
It is expected to be uneventful with no significant changes to fiscal policy.
European Rate Markets: Eurobonds, by-elections and the spring statement
Q: Does the recent Green Party win in the by-election increase the chance of a leadership challenge for PM Starmer?
While it may generate media headlines and put pressure on PM Starmer, it is believed that any potential leadership challenge is more likely after local elections in May.
Global Commodities: Deconstructing the Metal Mania
Q: Is silver also as good as a buying opportunity as gold?
We are more cautious on silver due to valuation issues and the lack of central bank support; though it saw volatility, we believe it may not present as favorable an investment as gold.
Global Commodities: Deconstructing the Metal Mania
Q: What is gold trying to tell us right now?
Gold reflects sharp movements in dollar strength and policy uncertainty, indicating a levels of overextension that may not sustain, yet there remains a bullish outlook for gold.
