It has been a year since the Kousins did a Gladiator Battle. Oddly enough, one of the albums competing tonight was featured on that one, too. Being as this is the 40th anniversary year of both the first post-DLR Van Halen record and the first post-VH... more
Kousin Ray is on the open seas practicing speaking like a pirate, so the other Kousins discuss this week (March 15) being the FIFTIETH anniversary of the album that really put KISS on the map, Destroyer. This is the sixteenth (not really) time that a... more
A few weeks ago, the Kousins did a retrospective of music (and other pop-culture things) from 1982, focusing on the hard rock genre (available here). The Kousins may be visiting other years (the jury is still out). But, if we do, and before we all mo... more
Kousin Ray was out this week, so the other Kousins decided it was time to do some “Now Listening,” or as we call it, “Extended Now Listening,” and do what we usually do and split our regular “Let Me Know” segments and interweave the two. Each Kousin ... more

Really enjoyable KISS Podcast! The Cousins and Roadie Ray have great Chemistry and some cool topics! Give these guys a shot!
First off I have only been listening for a few episodes starting with the solo album throw downs and I was hooked. It’s great that there are 100 of these episodes that I can catch up on. In a sea of KISS podcasts, it’s great to find one that has an identity all its own and feels like a family. Just guys talking about KISS and their love of music in general. Give them a listen you’ll thank me later. Tim, Gary, Marvin and Ray congratulations! Great show!

Right Between The Podcast
I can’t believe you motherf*chers confused the Angels with Angel. The caller was right to be disgusted, stop making these weak excuses about not liking the music that was the foundation to everything you claim to like. If you truly don’t like the blues, go and listen to Justin Beiber and stop wasting our time.

A behind-the-mandatory narrative around hard rock and classic rock history, anchored by three hosts and a rotating cast of guests. Episodes mix album rankings, deep dives into year-specific releases, and nostalgic banter that centers on iconic bands, live performances, and archival releases. The show often threads in personal anecdotes, birthday-themed discussions, and moments of fan call-ins, creating a community vibe for listeners who love hard-hitting guitar-driven music and the era that shaped it. A notable pattern is the frequent focus on Kiss and related hard rock acts, along with conversations about production, live energy, and the cultural context of rock through the years, which makes it appealing for fans seeking both expertise an... more
