Kirk and Kyle Asher are two brothers born and raised in California. Kirk lives in the Los Angeles area, and Kyle lives in New York. From opposite sides of the country, they come together to analyze and discuss every episode of the "Greatest Show Ever", NYPD Blue. We publish sporadically, so make sure you're subscribed, so you don't miss a single episode.

The Asher brothers do an AWESOME job of breaking down each episode of NYPD Blue. The plots, character development, other juicy nuggets, and top-notch banter, wit, and opinions can be heard in each NYPD Blue Balls episode. This is a great podcast if you want to relive NYPD Blue, and it's also a great compliment if you are re-watching an epiode or if you are watching the series for the first time!
I discovered NYPD Blue in TNT reruns in the 2000s and it quickly became one of favorite programs ever. Dennis Franz’s influence on antihero portrayals is vastly underestimated, despite the accolades he won in the 90s. more
Taking on this classic series episode by episode is a task worthy of Hall of Fame. The two bi-coastal brothers are quick witted and have a rapport with each other that keeps the show entertaining. Their father joins them as well with some representation of “my” generation. A few too many spoilers leaked during the first few episodes so I recommend this to those who are familiar with the overall plot line throughout the show’s many seasons.
I like how they are fans but they come of sounding like millennials (I’m 37) watching the show for the first time in the modern era. And the constant harping on Sipowicz. Enough. The father that chimes in from time to time makes more sense then these two do.
I love NYPD Blue, it's my favorite show ever, so I was pretty excited to find a podcast dedicated to it. more
